NEW YORK - June 27, 2016 - PRLog -- L'Art de la Table has been awarded "second cookbook of the year" by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards panel of judges, announced at the awards ceremony in Yantai, China.

It was already been named as the best Mediterranean cookbook in the Netherlands by the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards and called "culinary work of art" in the Dutch press.

L'Art de la Table by Gintare Marcel  is perhaps the most romantic Mediterranean cookbook ever published. It started with an admiration for the Mediterranean Region, its customs, its scent and the colours that we all know too well from our holidays to the Mediterranean. The French way of life, combined with an aperitif culture and long dinners during the long hot evenings at the seaside are the sources of inspiration for self-made photographer and culinary author Gintare Marcel.
