Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Is Enlisting the Help Of Local Moms To Fight Cancer

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - June 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Jacksonville mothers are getting prepared to raise awareness and funds in an effort to create a world free from the pain and suffering caused by breast cancer. The local chapter of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is encouraging moms in the area to motivate their kids and their mother's group members to start or join a team and help us fight back against cancer.

Dollars raised help the American Cancer Society fund innovative breast cancer research; promote education and risk reduction; and provide comprehensive patient support to those who need it most. With the help of local moms, we will be able to promote awareness and continue funding resources that save lives all over the country as well as supporting local initiatives in Jacksonville. The goal of this challenge is to provide mothers and their children with a fun and interactive way to help us celebrate survivorship and to be apart of our campaign of finding a cure and defeating a disease that threathens the lives of so many.
