When: Saturday, July 16, 2016 Gates open at 6PM

Where: The South Meadow on the Great Lawn at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens, Staten Island, New York.

Event Details: This is the first ever memorial/charity concert in honor of the late reality star, Angela Raiola-Murphy, aka Big Ang, who truly loved giving back to her community and found great personal satisfaction having the ability to assist so many with her celebrity status and platform.  The smiles on everyone face were the only thanks she ever needed for all her generosity and hard work.  Angela's desire to make people happy never waivered and was a constant throughout her life up until she passed away.  She worked tirelessly for the betterment of Staten Island, and as befitting all profits from the concert will be donated to Angela's favorite organizations in conjunction with Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI).  Funds will be distributed through CHASI to the Staten Island LGBTQ Center, and the Hungerford School, as well as CHASI's Addiction Treatment Program to help battle the drug epidemic.

Big Ang is remembered for her love of disco, and dance music, and living life to the fullest to most people, but her family and close friends know her charitable endeavors were vast and equally as important.  All of the performers, Estate Attorney, Stephen A. Spinelli, Booking Agent, Gigi Neglia, and MC, Vinnie Medugno will all be donating their services in loving memory of Ang and with respect to her charities.  Most of the artists from the genre have met and worked with Big Ang at appearances and events, and were eager to be on board.  Some of which even paid their respects at her services.  Shortly after her passing, her husband Neil Murphy and her daughter Raquel Scotto created the concept of a memorial concert along with Stephen A. Spinelli, Esq to honor their beloved Angela, and continue her philanthropic work within her own community.

She had a true love for the LGBTQ community, and the organizers felt strongly pairing this concert with the Staten Island Gay Pride event earlier in the day at Snug Harbor, as an after party, would continue her commitment to bring our community together with great music while we share special memories.  Ang said often, "Party everyday and live life to the fullest, because ya never know when ya gonna go!"  For sure this concert will be great fun and nothing less than everything Angela Raiola-Murphy embodied.  Angela's close friend, Social Media Director and favorite DJ, Vinnie Medugno will MC the concert.
