Baterbys and Prosource will team up for a special live art auction event, July 30th in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - June 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Baterbys, Central Florida's best and largest art dealer, and Prosource, the industry leader in redefining home improvement, have announced plans for a special live art auction event on Saturday, July 30^th at the Prosource of Jacksonville showroom located at 5250 Sunbeam Road in Jacksonville.  Admission is free and open to the public. RSVPs are required.

Over 300 fine and decorative artworks will be up for bid at over 70% off gallery retail prices. Event attendees will enjoy complimentary wine and snacks as they peruse the artworks and place pre-bids during the 5 pm to 6 pm (EST) preview. The live bidding will commence at 6 pm.

This event will be the second held at a Prosource location; the first one was at its Orlando showroom last April. According to Ashley Funderburk, Regional Marketing Director, "Apart from getting great deals on art, those who attended the event at our Orlando branch had so much fun and learned a lot about the artists that we decided to bring the event to our other locations."

Prosource was created to answer the unique requirements of homeowners, builders, remodelers, interior designers, contractors, real estate professionals, installers, architects and other trade professionals. Ms. Funderburk then added, "Opening our doors to these events allows Prosource to offer something different to our members and guests."

The impressive lineup of artists includes names such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall and Peter Max, plus contemporary artists like Tripp Harrison, Elena Bond, Thomas Kinkade, Duaiv and many more. Various works on canvas and paper, original limited edition prints, animation cels, sports memorabilia items, and framed décor art are among the items that are going to be up for bidding.

The selection will cater to customers who want a piece of art on their wall, to those who want to start, or add more, to their fine art collection. Valuable prizes will be raffled off and includes two framed artworks valued at $500 each and the grand prize, a Royal Caribbean cruise for two.
