New Book Writing Workshop & Cruise Helps Aspiring Authors Plan and Write a Book

BLUFFTON, S.C. - June 22, 2016 - PRLog -- Writing a book is one of the most common goals people have, but most don't know how to do it. The Writer's Sherpa, LLC, a Bluffton-based editorial consulting company, has organized a new writing workshop for aspiring authors who want to write a book but need help to make it happen. The workshop will take place aboard a Carnival cruise ship in March 2017 and is now open for registration.

This workshop is designed to teach people the nuances of structuring a book, help them improve their writing, and put all their ideas into a working plan for writing a book. Participants will get individual feedback and consulting on their book before and after the cruise; learn in a small, focused group aboard the cruise ship; and return from the trip with a workable plan for finishing their book.

"I get so many questions from people who know they have a good story to share, but aren't sure how to organize all their ideas into a cohesive book manuscript," said Melinda Copp, founder of The Writer's Sherpa, LLC. The program is appropriate for writers at all levels who want to learn how to write in the long-form for personal or professional reasons. It is geared towards memoir and creative nonfiction genres.

The cruise departs from Jacksonville, Florida, and will travel to the Bahamas, porting in Newport and Nassau.
