New J1939 Temperature Sensor Module from STW ahead of Sensors Expo 2016
STW Technic, a premier manufacturer of mobile controllers and measurement technology, today announced the introduction of a j1939 Temperature Module ahead of Sensors Expo 2016. STW is in booth 434.
By: STW Technic
The new j1939 temperature sensor module converts up to 6 RTD inputs into hexadecimal values and transmits them to the J1939 CAN bus. External wire connections allow for up to 4 Temp Sensor Modules to be addressed on a common CAN backbone to accommodate up to 24 RTD inputs.
Some of the key features of the j1939 temperature sensor module are: a sensing range of -40° C to 210° C, a resolution of 1° C, 6 RTD inputs, 12V to 24V operation, open and short circuit detection, carries a small footprint and is customizable.
Like all of STW's products, this output module is suitable for the harsh environments of off highway. It is potted, to protect it from the environment, has easy 2 point mounting and rugged ABS housing. The module meets MIL-STD-461F for EMI.
