GALESBURG, Ill. & BEIJING - July 4, 2016 - PRLog -- U.S. modeling agency Antipodal Talent International, LLC today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Beijing Mijinghefeng Technology Co., developer of the popular Chinese live streaming platform Huajiao. Over the next several months, the two companies will begin promoting one another in their respective geographic markets.

Although live streaming is currently a hot topic in the U.S., its popularity here has paled in comparison to the explosion that has taken place in China over the past several months. The success of live streaming in China is due to the fact that average Chinese broadcasters are able to generate substantial amounts of revenue from their broadcasts. In the U.S., by comparison, only celebrities and large media companies can secure compensation agreements that allow them to generate revenue from live streaming. Beijing Mijinghefeng Technology therefore saw an opportunity to invite average Americans interested in live streaming to try its Huajiao platform, and they selected Antipodal Talent to extend the invitation.

Grant Gulovsen, CEO and co-founder of Antipodal Talent, had this to say about the partnership: "We are very pleased that Beijing Mijinghefeng Technology has asked us to help spread the word about Huajiao in the U.S. With so much focus on live streaming right now, the fact that our models get to personally introduce one of the top live streaming platforms in China to an American audience is an incredible opportunity."

The amount of revenue that broadcasters on Huajiao can expect to receive is determined by their viewers, and there is a direct correlation between the number of fans a broadcaster is able to attract and the amount of revenue they can generate. Another factor that impacts revenue potential is the gender of the broadcasters. According to Sam Triplett, an American model living in Shanghai who is also a semi-regular Huajiao broadcaster, "Several of my female friends who are models and who regularly broadcast on Huajiao earn over $5,000 per month. If I earn 10% of that amount in a month from my live stream, I consider that to be a success."

Antipodal Talent's models have already begun live streaming on the Huajiao platform in preparation for the official U.S.-based promotion. Details including how American users can begin using Huajiao to live stream can be found at Antipodal Talent's web site at http://www.antipodal.com.

Established in 2015, Antipodal Talent is the first and only domestic talent agency that exclusively represents and promotes Chinese national models and performing artists to advertisers and media companies in the U.S.
