Mindsailing Wins Pair of Digital Awards for Empathy Category Work

 
MINNEAPOLIS - June 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Building on a recent string of digital award wins for healthcare clients, innovation and marketing communication agency Mindsailing notched a pair of wins for clients in the empathy category.

The concept of empathy - the ability to see situations from another person's perspective - is core to the creation of trust between consumers and the brands, explained Mindsailing Director of Innovation, Heather Saucier. More and more, digital channels are helping brands demonstrate a commitment to empathy, Saucier said.

"Digital storytelling - whether it comes through sharing beliefs or personal stories - has tremendous power in building true human connections between people," explained Saucier. "While it's gratifying to be recognized by our peers, it's even more rewarding that it comes on behalf of clients who are actively working to build these connections between people."

These digital award wins are among the most competitive honors in today's marketing landscape:

Horizon Interactive Award, Bronze: Papal Experience for GHR Foundation
Following the September 2015 visit to the US by Pope Francis, Minnesota's GHR Foundation wanted to further the momentum among its entrepreneurial and faith-based partners. Mindsailing developed a highly visual, mobile-responsive website and survey that encouraged GHR partners to share their own reactions and aspirations following the visit. More than 100 responses were curated into a printed book that would help build connections between partners. Mindsailing previously won a Horizon Award for GHR's website.

Summit Creative Award, Bronze: Non-profit Website for Opus Prize
An annual, faith-based humanitarian award, Opus Prize recognizes leaders and organizations that develop creative solutions to the world's most pressing problems. In an effort to truly communicate the impact of prize laureates, Mindsailing developed a responsive, parallax-style website to engage visitors with powerful imagery and compelling video stories. The website was selected as a winner from more than 5,000 entries in 21 countries.
