Breakfast Roundtable Will Focus on "How to Perfect your Elevator Speech"

(ALBANY, NY) - The New York Capital Region chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA) announces its 2016 June Roundtable Discussion, "How to Perfect Your Elevator Speech," Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Century House, 997 New Loudon Rd., Route 9, Latham, NY 12110, from 7:45am-9:00am. Join NYCRAMA for a breakfast routable discussion facilitated by Maya McNulty, owner of Up IN Your Business, as she discusses the importance of confidence and uniqueness while networking and how to convey a valuable offer in 60 seconds.

McNulty's company, Up IN Your Business (http://upthebiz.com/), is an agency specializing in marketing, advertising, and consulting for small to midsize businesses. McNulty is the recipient of the 2015 Good News Award presented by the Schenectady County Chamber, the 2014 Path of Excellence Award presented by Time Warner Cable Business Class, the 2013 Ambassador of the Year presented by Schenectady County Chamber, and the 2013 Most Organized Entrepreneur Parent presented by Parentology. Maya McNulty is the host of Schenectady, Cable, Entertainment, News and Events show (SCENE TV), which is televised in 19 counties.

Roundtable attendees can expect to learn about the importance of elevator speeches and how to discover the key factors in conveying valuable offers which lead to successful networking. The roundtable will also include tips on how to describe a product or service, explain in detail what problem the product or service solves, and differentiate the product or service from the competition all in less than 60 seconds. Attendees will come away with an understanding of success that can be achieved from perfecting a seamless elevator speech.

Cost is $15 for AMA members and students; $20 for nonmembers. Walk-ins are also welcome. Cash or check will be accepted at the door.
