FRANKLIN, Tenn. - June 16, 2016 - PRLog -- The busyness and chaos surrounding families today can cause many women to feel lost and too many families are still being torn apart by divorce as a result, according to six-time Author, Speaker and Artist Joanne Miller.

Her latest book, "Creating a Haven of Peace," is written to help women who feel lost find clarity and peace toward a life they desire. It is scheduled to be released nationally by Morgan James Publishing on July 5, 2016.

"The divorce rate in this country has nearly doubled since 1960[1]," says Miller, who has been married for nearly 50 years. "This book speaks to a wide-range of women. Whether newly married, a new mother, approaching the empty nest or facing retirement, many women feel they're losing or have lost their identity, control of their home, or worse, their relationship with their husband."

"Creating a Haven of Peace" leads readers through challenging questions about where they are and where they want to be, tips and advice on how to improve their marriage and home, and personal stories and examples of how to create an atmosphere of peace and love in spite of circumstances or bank account.

No matter the circumstances - financial, family history, job security - women who feel lost can create a haven of peace by taking purposeful actions: Making time, working to regain romance, finding common interests, finding new friends, learning to touch, playing games together, finding oneself, keeping a sense of humor, are all "intentional" actions Miller describes in "Creating a Haven of Peace."

"There is hope and I believe it starts in the home. A haven of peace is attainable and affordable," says Miller. "I'm living proof."

"Creating a Haven of Peace" Is available in paperback, Kindle (Amazon.com), Nook (Barnes & Noble), and at www.JoanneFMiller.com.
