Accounts and legal secures venture capital investment

CAMDEN, U.K. - June 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Founded in 2013, Accounts and Legal set out to change the face of small business accountancy. Neil Nichols, founder and Director of the London based small business accounting firm realised that accountants very rarely provide the sorts of information and advice that small businesses really need.

"Traditional firms tend to focus on statutory reporting and compliance, but what small businesses really need is help with writing business plans and securing investment." says Nichols.

Accounts and Legal specialise in bringing the numbers to life by using a dedicated team of Business Consultants to work alongside their accountants and help interpret the information within statutory accounts and create a bespoke plan for growth for each client. Additionally, legal services, currently focussing on employment law are also available in-house.

After 3 years of uninterrupted monthly growth, and a growth of 396% in 2015, Accounts and Legal has just secured venture capital investment of £1 million, from a European private equity investor.

Newly appointed Managing Director Chris Conway, who joined from top 20 firm Kingston Smith, was instrumental in achieving this funding. He joined Accounts and Legal full time in December last year.

When I saw the business plan that underpinned accounts and legal I knew immediately that this was a business that had a tremendous future. The chance to lead the team as MD was an opportunity I could not turn down." says Conway.

The growth of Accounts and Legal has not gone unnoticed.
