DAV and RecruitMilitary to Produce All Veterans Career Fair in Hartford on July 7

LOVELAND, Ohio - June 14, 2016 - PRLog -- DAV and RecruitMilitary will produce an All Veterans Career Fair at Marquee Events on Thursday, July 7, 2016. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson. "Just last year, 56.3% of veteran job seekers expected to secure an interview as a result of their participation in a RecruitMilitary job fair and employers were expected to extend as many as 38,700 interviews and more than 12,000 job offers."

In July of 2015, the DAV-RecruitMilitary Hartford event connected more than 179 veteran job seekers with 31 exhibitors, including Accenture, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Lowe's Company, Inc., The Home Depot and United States Postal Service. Participating companies expected to conduct up to 316 interviews and make up to 104 job offers as a result of that career fair.

RecruitMilitary has produced veteran job fairs since 2006 and has held 1 event in Hartford, drawing 179 attendees and 32 exhibitors. The company has produced more than 814 events in 65 cities across the country. RecruitMilitary will return to Hartford to host an additional veteran career fair in October 2016.
