Veterans Village and Community Counseling Center Announce Partnership
Veterans Village and Community Counseling Center form Partnership to Provide Housing with Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment to Local United States Veterans and people in the Community
Patrick Bozarth, Executive Director of Community Counseling Center quote:
"At this very moment in our city, we are seeing a significant increase in cases of mental illness and addiction-related issues and, sadly, these statistics are disproportionately higher among our veteran population. This growing epidemic has reached a crisis point. We at Community Counseling Center feel very passionately about addressing this urgent situation and wish to do our part to assist those who have courageously given so much of themselves in the service of our country and for us all. We could not be more pleased to be working in partnership with the wonderful people at Veterans Village. Dr. Arnold Stalk and his staff, volunteers and residents have developed something so unique and special, and it really demonstrates how much good can be done when people come together to assist those in need and address the problems that affect our community."
