OXON HILL, Md. - June 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Bruce Gudenberg has been named executive director of the newly formed National Harbor Convention & Visitors Association ("Visit National Harbor"). National Harbor, celebrating its eighth anniversary this year, is a 350-acre, micro-city across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C. with more than 7.3 million square feet of master-planned, mixed-use community (including more than 150 unique retail shops, 30 restaurants, seven hotels with more than 3,000 rooms including Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor Marina, Tanger Outlets, MGM National Harbor, the iconic Capital Wheel, as well as special events and programs).  Visit National Harbor was recently created to effectively promote the extensive tourism assets of the property.

In addition to serving as executive director of Visit National Harbor, Gudenberg also retains the title and responsibilities as vice president of marketing for National Harbor.  With this role, Gudenberg also oversees brand management and the development of strategic marketing, communications, and partnerships at National Harbor.

Prior to coming to National Harbor, Gudenberg was vice president of partnerships and alliances at Destination D.C.  He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from George Washington University.  Gudenberg resides in the city of Falls Church, Va.
