DETROIT - June 7, 2016 - PRLog -- The Internet of Things (IoT) is ushering in a new era of connected devices as part of building and energy management systems for residential and commercial buildings. To help the Mobile Monday Detroit audience understand the advances being made in this field, experts from Powerley, iRule and MadDog Ventures will join us to share their insights on the way devices that stream real-time data and bring intelligence enable residential and/or commercial building owners/managers to make better decisions, thereby improving performance and achieving cost savings while providing additional functionality. The event takes place on Monday, June 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the offices of RIIS, located at 1250 Stephenson Highway, Suite 200 in Troy.

Joining us as speakers will be:

• Kevin Foreman, CTO, Powerley
• Itai Ben-Gal, CEO, iRule
• Paul Czarnik, Venture Technologist, MadDog Ventures

Foreman's presentation will focus on "Utilizing Mobile Technology to make the Smart Home More Insightful", Czarnik's on "Managing Enterprise Building Portfolios Efficiently and Securely". Ben-Gal's topic is still being finalized.

The event is free to attend but advance reservations via Meetup ARE REQUIRED in order to attend; make your reservation at http://meetup.com/Mobile-Monday-Detroit. Refreshments will be served courtesy of our host and sponsor, RIIS. Free parking is available onsite.
