By: The NY Capital Region chapter of the American Customer referrals typically have a higher conversion rate, a shorter time to close, and drive more sales to the bottom line. Yet the majority of companies do not have a formalized referral program. Attendees of this month's luncheon will learn best practices for creating referral programs including developing a messaging and promotion plan, structuring incentives, training internal teams, and tracking a referral program. Chris Chariton has more than twenty years of marketing leadership experience across media, manufacturing, technology and financial services. Her passion is demand generation and accelerating sales growth through marketing and sales alignment. Chariton also serves as the executive vice president of membership for the New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA). She recently shared her experiences with accelerating client referral programs at Marketo's Marketing Nation Summit.
