By: Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh & GiGi's Playhouse
Each year, the President of the Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh selects a local organization that will receive the majority of the Club's time, resources, and fundraising efforts, with the intention of making a difference within that organization and the community. The focus organization for the 2015-2016 club year President's Project was Read and Feed. During the course of this project, the Junior Woman's Club of Raleigh collected school supplies and sorted books to benefit Read and Feed program participants, supported educational and fundraising events, and capped off the year with a gift in the amount of $1,928 - the dollar amount corresponding to the year of JWC's founding.
