South Shore Chamber to present June 8th program on the changing landscape of customer service

ROCKLAND, Mass. - June 3, 2016 - PRLog -- As part of its Business Education Series, the South Shore Chamber of Commerce (http://www.southshorechamber.org) the region's largest Chamber today, will host "Throw Away the Customer Service Rule Book to Prepare Your Teams to be Successful" on Wednesday, June 8thth at Chamber headquarters, 1050 Hingham Street, Rockland.

The event, slated from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., will address how today's customer service environment has been changed by social media, branding and the millennial generation.

The workshop will be presented by Amy Zinti Koch of ServiceSense in Norwell; during the program attendees will learn to identify opportunities to shift customer service mindset from transactional to experiential, create conditions for an authentic service experience and engage staff to truly make a difference to customers.  Koch will randomly select an attendee to receive a three-hour, fully personalized customer touch point consultation.

Attendees' customer service challenges will be discussed and reviewed as real life case studies.

Admission fee, which includes a light breakfast, is $25 for all South Shore Chamber and affiliate Chamber members and members of the South Shore Young Professionals, as well as non-members.   Pre-registration is required by contacting jwilliams@southshorechamber.org.
