PC Pitstop Launches Broadband Quality Tool

The tool tests ping time and upload/download bandwidth speeds.

According to the 2016 Broadband Progress Report Fact Sheet, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) found that, "Approximately 34 million Americans still lack access to fixed broadband at the FCC's benchmark speed of 25 Mbps for downloads, 3 Mbps for uploads."

In a PC Pitstop survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-3JHDVKLQ/), testing 930 individuals' bandwidth speeds, around 25% reported bandwidth speeds greater than 25 Mbps, while nearly 75% reported internet speeds deemed inadequate by the FCC.
