Luna Kombucha is now Wild Ohio Brewing Company

COLUMBUS, Ohio - June 2, 2016 - PRLog -- • Wild Ohio Brewing Company acquires the right to brew and distribute Luna Notti from The Columbus Kombucha Company
• Previous owners and executive management team no longer associated with the company
• High ABV gluten-free portfolio will be attractive in the craft beer segment

COLUMBUS, OH / May 27, 2016/ Wild Ohio Brewing Company, LLC has reached a definitive agreement with Columbus Kombucha Company to acquire the right to brew and distribute, Luna Kombucha nationwide effective May 12, 2016.

THE TRANSACTION

The transaction was an asset only transfer with Wild Ohio Brewing Company receiving 100% of the assets of Luna Kombucha. The terms of the sale were not disclosed. Wild Ohio Brewing Company is actively seeking investors for its craft beer alternatives product line.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

The previous executive management team will no longer be involved in any capacity. The company has a new leadership team. Russell Pinto the owner, is the new CEO and President. Steve Manning the ex-CEO of Ardex Tiles has also joined the company in an Advisory position. The company has retained the sales, marketing and brewing team to continue the operations.

WILD OHIO BREWING COMPANY

Wild Ohio Brewing Company will own an outstanding portfolio of award winning flavors. Many of the flavors have received excellent reviews at beer festivals and on UnTappd. The company plans to play in both the gluten-free space and the Kombucha space. The global gluten-free packaged food market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 6% between 2015 and 2019. Younger generations, specifically 38% of Generation Z and 32% of millennials, said they are willing to pay a premium for gluten-free products. The kombucha industry is the hottest segment beverage industry and is estimated to reach $1 billion by the end of 2020. The company plans to rebrand the packaging by making it more gender neutral and also more appealing to millennials. It plans on increasing its distribution network while also creating new innovative flavors.
