SAN FRANCISCO - June 2, 2016 - PRLog -- Today, for the first time ever, innovative startups from Wearable IoT World Labs' San Francisco and Hong Kong classes will join alumni company Grush (Winter 2014), the winner of America's Greatest Makers, to showcase their innovations at Demo Day.

The invitation-only event, hosted by Runway Incubator and broadcast live by F6S (at https://www.f6s.com/wearableiotworldlabsdemoday), will introduce some of the most promising tech startups to the investor and media community.

The Winter 2016 San Francisco class includes home energy firm ElectrIQ Power (https://electriqpower.com), which racked up $60 million in pre-orders for its IQ System home energy system; and parking sensor startup FenSens (https://fensens.com), which saw 5,000 pre-orders before they even launched and are garnering retail interest from over 100 countries - from Europe, to Africa, to Asia.

Demo Day will also feature pitches by the Winter 2016 class of startup innovators in the IoT, Wearables, Industrial, Energy, and Health industries. The startups presenting include:

Algorithmic Intuition: intelligent algorithms and software to make the most of sensors in consumer devices;
Alola: a personalized and dietician-designed grocery list for you and your household;
BELLE: a beautiful line of jewelry with invisible technology and artificial intelligence that tracks your fitness and is your personal security alarm;
Crowder: utilizes smart sensors and WiFi tracking to provide bars and restaurants with critical performance data;
ElectrIQ Power: develops an all-in-one home energy storage and management system that helps optimize energy use, reduce energy costs, and provide sustainable backup power;
Fensens: a wireless, pain-free sensor to help consumers avoid accidents by detecting and alerting drivers of objects in their blind spots;
GO PUCK: The pioneer of Wearable Power with technology that allows users to spend less than 20 minutes at a wall outlet and store enough energy to charge any USB power device;
Metron Force: inventors of the mForce wristband with mesh-like network and biometric feedback to control multiple objects;
Perch: a next generation baby and diaper health monitor that connects parents with their babies, providing a constant flow of vital information, insuring they are always safe, comfortable, and dry;
PROXXI: an industrial wearable that keeps watch over people working near high voltages; and
Soundsight Smart Headphones: luxury smart-headphones that record video from your point of view.

In addition, three startups will take part in the event from Wearable IoT World Labs' first Hong Kong class: IoTracks (http://iotracks.com), Kiddo (http://goodparents.io), and Nexpaq (http://nexpaq.com).

"The Wearable IoT World Labs has become an international operation. We were already an important player in the startup accelerator industry, but this fast growth especially in Asia has made us a notable global player. We enjoy bringing the global IoT community together; it's a win-win situation to all parties," said Kyle Ellicott, Wearable IoT World Co-Founder & Chief Labs Officer.

The event also marks the passing of a notable threshold. Wearable IoT World Labs' alumni group now includes over 100 companies and counting. Two of those alumni companies - Grush (Winter 2014) and OSVehicle (https://www.osvehicle.com, Fall 2015) - will have demo tables at the event.
