east coast film school Grand Opening coming June 27th

NUTLEY, N.J. - May 31, 2016 - PRLog -- East Coast Film School is the first school of its kind located right here in North Jersey with classes in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Acting, Film Editing and Makeup and Prosthetic Mask application.
Courses are taught by certified Instructors in all aspects of Filmmaking. Students will get hands-on  training not just lecturing, we believe students learn better by doing.  East Coast Film School founder Victor Echevarria, a veteran in the filmmaking industry wanted to bring the experience of Hollywood style filmmaking to the New Jersey area. "I really felt a need to bring filmmaking to New Jersey kids, since most schools offering filmmaking are located in New York.  My Love and passion for filmmaking is what helped me decide that we needed a Hollywood-style filmmaking school for kids and teens right here in our own state. Many kids have wanted to study Filmmaking but found New York too far a distance to commute, and therefore my goal is to fill that gap and I opened our school here for all to attend.

The school teaches kids from ages 9 through 17 and are willing to accept kids as young as 7 years old. Students at the school use professional cameras and latest equipment to produce their very own movies with everyone switching between director, cinematographer, sound technician, lighting technician and other important roles on set. Students get to script-write their story and watch it come to life as a movie. The filmmaking experience teaches kids to be creative, responsible team players and problem solvers all through the magic of filmmaking. At the end of the course,  families are encouraged to attend a red carpet premiere for the kids to show off their completed films.  Our classes are small, 16 students per class so that everyone gets to rotate among key filmmaking positions. Students can also act in their own production if they so choose".
