Mayor Bill Barnett Distributes Remaining Campaign Monies to Help Children

NAPLES, Fla. - May 31, 2016 - PRLog -- Collier Child Care Resources (CCCR) provider of high quality early childhood care, education and resources to children, families and early learning professionals in Collier County, was the recipient of  monies remaining from the Bill Barnett for Mayor Campaign account which were distributed to two local non-profit child care providers.  The donation to CCCR, totaling over $3,500, will help families with tuition assistance at Child's Path Preschool, CCCR's newly-acquired child care and early childhood education center.

Mayor Bill Barnett said, "The children are our future leaders, tax-payers, workers, and yes, voters.  They need the best environment and opportunities in which to grow.  I am pleased to be able to do a small part in something that I believe is important right here in Collier County."

Niccole Howard, Executive Director of Collier Child Care Resources said, "This generosity from Mayor Bill means so much to us.  He has been a loyal supporter of CCCR in so many ways over the years. Children in poverty often do not have access to the same educational and developmental resources as their counterparts from higher-income families during this vital time, between birth and five years of age. This donation will assist families in need to help with the cost of quality childcare. "
