Walgreens Increasing Support for AIDS Walk South Dallas, Inc

DALLAS - May 31, 2016 - PRLog -- For the 5^th year in a row, Walgreens is supporting the program and services of AIDS Walk South Dallas, Inc., but this year increasing our exposure and opportunity to raise more money than ever! Throughout the month of June, customers and supporters will have the opportunity to visit 1 of 52 Walgreens locations and make a difference by donating $1, $5, $10 or more at checkout.  "This partnership with Walgreens for the last 5 years has really shown their commitment to; not only the Southern Dallas community but their true passion to affect the lives of all people impacted by HIV/AIDS", said Auntjuan Wiley, AWSD CEO. "As the leading retail pharmacy, we are excited about their continued support of AIDS Walk South Dallas and our efforts to bring change to this community".

Going from 12 stores to 52 stores, this will be the largest campaign ever and we are so fortunate to be the only local AIDS Service Organization to have a partnership with Walgreens of this kind. "With a continuous increase of new HIV infections in Dallas, but less resources available, these funds will help us continue to impact just a portion of the 18,000 men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in Dallas County, said Auntjuan Wiley, AWSD CEO."
