NCQC Increases Instrument Calibration Facilities and Successfully Expands NABL Scope till April 2018

AHMEDABAD, India - May 26, 2016 - PRLog -- With increased emphasis and facilities for instrument calibration, NCQC Ahmedabad, a leading NABL accredited calibration laboratory has successfully faced NABL audit in January 2016. Through this NABL audit held on 17^th Jan to 23^rd Jan 2016, NCQC was seeking to raise competitive status of the calibration laboratories in India and has successfully achieved it by extension of NABL certificates till April 2018. The Team NCQC had a vision to expand scope by increasing calibration facilities as per ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the NABL (National Accreditation Board of Laboratory) for year 2016 to 2018.

National Centre for Quality Calibration (NCQC) has continuously improved with extends the number and range of instrumentation, knowledge and the NABL accreditation scope every two year in all the department mechanical, electro-technical and thermal calibration. In Jan 2016, NCQC has admitted and successful got recommendation for massive scope of instrument calibration as all NCRs cleared in short time as per NABL guidelines.  NABL will offer accreditation certificate soon, which will be applicable from 11 April 2016 to 10 April 2018.

Through the last two decades, NCQC has maintains their standard as leading NABL accredited calibration laboratory in India had follows all the requirements of NABL standard for instrument calibration in all three departments mechanical, electro-technical and thermal calibration. Before two years, after successfully completed NABL audit in 2014, NCQC had started planning and purchasing the latest master instruments, as well as got training sessions for all employees of calibration lab, with the aim of expanding the scope of calibration services in NABL audit 2016. The team of 5 highly experienced and qualified NABL auditors has audited the system at NCQC, Ahmedabad from 17^th Jan to 23^rd Jan 2016.

NCQC is recently got scope of facilities for validation, force, Torque, hardness tester, tape, scale, humidity, energy, as well as extended ranges of currently performing instruments calibration in the field of Temperature, Dimensional, Pressure, Vacuum, Time, mass calibration, volume, mapping, force, torque, electrical, noise, Airflow, Lux, & many other special purpose Instruments in all ranges. NCQC calibration Laboratory's quality system is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by NABL, established since 1998. NCQC has ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL) accreditation in the field of Mechanical, pressure and vacuum, force, mass, volume, thermal, and Electro-Technical as per latest ISO standard ISO/IEC 17025 (NABL Certificate No. C-0146, C-0499, C-0502).
