South Shore Chamber of Commerce to host June 7th breakfast with Boston Globe CEO Mike Sheehan

RANDOLPH, Mass. - May 25, 2016 - PRLog -- The South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org) the region's largest Chamber today will host "7:44 Breakfast - Lessons from the Future" with guest speaker Mike Sheehan, CEO of Boston Globe Media Partners on Tuesday, June 7^th at The Lantana, 43 Scanlon Drive, Randolph.

The event will run from 7:44 to 9:15 a.m.

Sheehan began his career as Sports Editor of the Weymouth News at the young age of 15.  His extensive and impressive resume includes tenures with Boston Magazine and the Quincy Patriot Ledger.  Prior to joining The Globe in January 2014, he spent 20 years at the marketing firm of Hill Holiday where he served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Creative Officer.

Sheehan has served on the Board of Directors of BJ's Wholesale Club; on the Board of the American Association of Advertising Agencies; and has chaired the Board of Trustees of his alma mater, Saint Anselm College.  He currently serves on the Boards of ChoiceStream, a leading programmatic advertising firm, as well as the American Repertory Theater and Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston.  He was a founder and Board member of One Fund Boston, Inc., the relief fund that raised in excess of $81 million for the survivors of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Admission to the highly anticipated breakfast session is $35 for South Shore Chamber members, as well as all Braintree, Weymouth, Rockland and Marshfield Chamber and South Shore Young Professional membersand $55 for general admission.
