Americana Safety Graduates 2 Certified Forensic Consultants

DALLAS - May 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The Americana College of Forensic Examiners Institute's (ACFEI) Certified Forensic Consultant course was held in Dallas, TX, and taught by attorney and author Paul D. Friedman, Ph.D., JD, and a member of the Phoenix, AZ, law firm O'Steen & Harrison, PLC.

Participants in the Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC) training received background information on the U.S. legal system, proper techniques for reviewing and accepting legal cases, completing discovery, testifying in deposition and at trial, and applicable Federal rules of evidence and procedures for subject matter experts to successfully testify in court in a professional manner.

The CFC designation clearly helps experts to further learn and appreciate the U.S. legal system as it relates to what a forensic expert needs to know and do during the entire litigation process. This is a "communication" course between attorney and expert. A course of understanding the various professional tasks the forensic expert will be asked to complete as they begin, follow through, and complete their roles for the court and in rendering testimony for their depositions and ultimately at trial.

Dr. DeMaria and Dr. Withers have been awarded the distinctive CFC designation for use in their credentials.
