Black Bag Productions wins Wedding Industry Experts 2016 Most Popular Wedding Planner Award

LAUREL, Md. - May 20, 2016 - PRLog -- Black Bag Productions, a full service event planning company based in Laurel, Maryland proudly announces they won first place in the 2016 Wedding Industry Experts Awards' Most Popular Wedding Planner, Most Popular Wedding Planning Service and Most Popular Destination Planner categories in Laurel MD. This is the third consecutive year Black Bag Productions has been honored with the Wedding Industry Experts Award, which is an annual competition recognizing some of the most popular wedding vendors at a local, national and international level. The awards have given past clients, peers and friends a chance to support vendors who give outstanding service or provide quality products.

"Needless to say, I was honored to have ranked first place in these categories and to place in the statewide, national and international areas was just icing on the cake," said Moss who is a certified wedding planner through the American Academy of Wedding Professionals and publishes an online magazine, Black Bag Bridal, with columns and stories geared toward encore brides, brides over age 40 and brides of color.

In 2014, Black Bag Productions added "pop-up weddings" to their offerings, allowing brides to call with a date and a budget and letting the company plan everything within that budget. "We recognized that brides were busier than ever and this was an opportunity to showcase not only our capabilities in designing beautiful weddings, but our creativity and expertise in the area," noted Moss who has been a certified wedding planner for over five years and currently is working with the American Academy of Wedding Professionals to develop an advanced level course for planners.

In the fall of 2012, Black Bag Productions collaborated with another Wedding Industry Experts award winner, Marie Crawford's Bridal, to create Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ and has continued to host the event for brides to meet other award winning vendors in the wedding industry in a cocktail party setting without the hard sell and loud crowds of typical bridal shows. Plans are underway to take Wedding Wednesday Cocktail Party™ nationally to prove to brides that the wedding planning experience can be and should be simple, fun and relaxing.
