Local Cheerleading Company Donates $22,500 to Loudoun County High Schools
Brittany Rose and Sema Konur, both raised here in Loudoun, have been running a local cheerleading and gymnastics business in Loudoun County since 2012. Now undergoing their 4th expansion in 4 years, they want the opportunity to give back to the community that has given them so much. "It's important to us to give back to our community. We grew up here, our roots are here, and I always like to see our local schools flourish because of the connections I developed as a Loudoun County Public Schools Cheerleader,"
"Part of what we believe and what we teach is the importance of being a community leader. Building community and business partnerships are paramount to helping our community thrive," said Brittany when asked about what spurred the decision. "We want to give back to the schools that made us who we are and the community that has supported us as business owners."
More Than Cheer has decided to donate up to $1,500 in services to each Loudoun County High School. The company will be contacting each school's cheerleading and athletic department to arrange how they would like to use the services donated. If a school chooses not to claim their donation individual students from the school can contact the gym independently.
