Fass Selections Officially Wine-Al Four to Definitively Determine the World's Best Wine

IRVINE, Calif. - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Fass Selections, Inc., innovative online direct to consumer wine retailer, announced today that it is launching the Wine-Al Four, a tournament that will provide the definitive answer to the age old debate on the greatest wine category in the world.

Since the crushing of the first grape to make wine in 5400 BC, wine drinkers have been debating the greatest wine in the world.  Today, Fass Selections is proud to announce the solution to put a final end this debate, the Wine-Al Four.  64 categories will compete in a no holds barred tournament, hosted on Facebook and Twitter, for the votes of wine lovers everywhere.  The winner, and unquestioned greatest wine of all time, will be announced at the end of this tournament.  The voting starts on May 18 with a match every day until only one category stands alone.

The Wine-al-Four, is based on the age old and wonderful NCAA college basketball championship. Nobody loves that time of year more than I do. 64 teams all competing to be the college champion. It goes quickly from 64-32-16-8-2 to 1. That flurry creates excitement as does the upsets of the so called powerhouses by the "Cinderella" teams. Everybody loves an underdog and when a team like Butler, from a few years back, can get as far as they did it's fun to watch these kids ride that wave as far as they can.

The Wine-Al Four works in a very similar fashion except, obviously games can't be played. So when 15 seed "Loire Whites" upsets 2 seed "Red Bordeaux" it is because of the voice of the public voting on Facebook and Twitter. I will have simple and easy to use polls on both social networks every day and a game will be played every day. There are four divisions. France, Germany, Italy and Other. I created all the divisions after a rigorous scientific analysis where I tasted multiple samples from every region over one long evening that lasted until dawn.  I'll post the matchup every morning on FB (https://www.facebook.com/FassSelections/) and Twitter (@FassSelections) and the next morning I'll release the results.  I'll update the bracket at least weekly.
