9 Year old coder develops Accurate Ramadan time table website
9 Year old coder from India develops an accurate Ramadan time table script that gives you precise result for Salah timing according to different calculation methods. Kids claims to have an accuracy level of +/-3 minutes as it uses Google Map API.
This script is using a complex algorithm to find all the prayer timings for muslims. Launched specially for ramadan, the website displays Suhoor and Iftar timings for a location.
9 Year old Rehan Khan says, he is usng Google map API for location coordinates that shows coordinates with an accuracy of upto 5 decimal points and then uses the coordinate to find the sunrise and sunset timings and hence the salah timings.
Additionally there are 6 calculation methods that one can select from, in order to get accurate ramadan timing accordingly.
Rehan says, it took him 30 days to code and launch the website and now he is working on the User Interference of the website which will be further improved for mobile users. Rehan is also planning to launch and andoird app for mobile users.
The website is using 256 bit encription to assure security to its users. Currently http://todayramadantimetable.com is getting 2000 visitors daily from countries across the world which is ofcourse a good number.
We made a few searched on the website and it was a pleasnt experience to see the data was pretty accurate.
