American Coating Products Announces Expansion of Manufacturing Operations to Sumter, South Carolina

CHARLESTON, S.C. - May 16, 2016 - PRLog -- American Coating Products, the exclusive manufacturer and worldwide distributor of AM-VI-CO Liquid Vinyl Siding™ products, announced today that its board of directors approved an expansion plan for its operations in the United States. Over the next several months, American Coating Products will be expanding its current manufacturing footprint to a location outside of So. San Francisco, CA. The new manufacturing facility is a state-of-the-art plant located in Sumter, SC.

The new manufacturing plant is a 71,000 square foot facility with area to conduct research and product testing. The plant is equipped with stainless steel mixing tanks, which are mounted on load cells for the most accurate measuring of raw materials. The plant has capabilities to produce batches up to 5,000 gallons and production capabilities of over 60,000 gallons per week. Employees working at the facility have a combined history and knowledge of over 250 years in the coating industry. With the addition of the new manufacturing facility American Coating Products will have the ability quadruple its current production and more importantly, cut lead time for deliveries to customers in the eastern half of the United States in half.
