Bridge Cleaners & Tailors Named One of America's Best Cleaners

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - May 16, 2016 - PRLog -- Bridge Cleaners & Tailors has been selected as one of America's Best Cleaners (ABC).  ABC is a national organization that recognizes the best dry cleaning establishments in major metropolitan areas throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.  In order to be selected, Bridge Cleaners & Tailors had to meet strict criteria.

To achieve the Certified Affiliate label, Bridge Cleaners & Tailors was required to an undergo on-site inspection by certified ABC representatives to determine if the company met minimum requirements for cleanliness, client service, machinery equipment, stain removal and garment finishing quality.  As one of only about 30 cleaners certified by ABC for 2016, Bridge Cleaners & Tailors will be also required to undergo monthly quality tests and quarterly mystery shopping reports, testing for customer service and quality as part of the most stringent certification in the dry cleaning industry.

Bridge Cleaners & Tailors' President, Richard Aviles, is involved in several other industry organizations and sits on the Executive Board of the National Cleaners Association.  He says that ABC is very different from these other management- and financially-centered organizations, in that it is more focused on the marketing aspects of the dry cleaning business.

"ABC is really aimed at elevating the dry cleaning industry and educating consumers that what we do is very specialized," says Aviles.  "At Bridge Cleaners & Tailors, we are firm believers in getting our brand out in front of our market, and we are confident that ABC will help guide us in the best methods to do that."

Aviles says that his decision to become an Affiliate of ABC was clinched when he attended the group's semi-annual National Affiliate Meeting held in Pompano Beach, FL in March.  "I love meeting progressive dry cleaners," he says, "and I think we stand to learn a lot from the other Affiliates of ABC."
