Haitian Heritage Museum Presents the Richness of Haiti on Canvas

MIAMI - May 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Haitian Heritage Month is a nationally dedicated time in May where the Haitian community celebrates the rich culture and traditions of Haiti. As an expansion of the Haitian Flag Day celebration held on May 18th, this month engages all Haitians in the Diaspora and the community at large, in Caribbean patriotism and heritage.

In celebration of Haitian Heritage Month 2016, Haitian Heritage Museum will host an evening of cultural enlightenment with the unveiling of it's featured exhibition entitled "The Richness of Haiti on Canvas", showcasing paintings from its private collection of primitive works by various Haitian artists. This night of celebration will also indulge the community in the ethnic taste of Haiti, not only through it's delicious cuisine but with live island performances of Haitian rhythms and beats by local musicians.

The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday May 11^th, 6:30pm - 9:00pm at the Haitian Heritage Museum located in the beautiful Miami Design District.At the Haitian Heritage Museum 4141 NE 2^ND Avenue Miami Florida in the Beautiful Miami Design District
