OAKLAND, Calif. - May 12, 2016 - PRLog -- The Department of Better Technology (DOBT) has announced the launch of a new podcast series that will highlight stories and hard-fought lessons from the front-lines of the growing GovTech movement.

The podcast series entitled "Rewiring Government" will feature interviews with Presidential Innovation Fellows, Code for America fellows, and other GovTech leaders. In the first episode, DOBT CEO Joshua Goldstein interviews Justin Erlich, the Data and Technology Advisor to California Attorney General Kamala Harris.

The inspiration for the podcast came from frequent conversations with public-sector employees, who ask DOBT for advice in pushing their city, state or federal agency to become a better provider of digital services.

As Goldstein puts it:

"I was struck that, despite living and breathing GovTech, we know only a fraction of the stories and hard-won lessons from our colleagues working in the guts of government to make change."

Rewiring Government can be found at https://www.dobt.co/podcast/ and in the iTunes Store.
