For her popular strip cartoon The Yuppies which ran for seven years in the Daily Mail, she was recognised by her peers in the Cartoonists Club of Great Britain as Strip Cartoonist of the Year.

In 1993 Annie embarked on her current internationally acclaimed cartoon strip Tottering-by-Gently for Country Life Magazine. In 1995, The O'Shea Gallery, London was appointed agent for Annie Tempest's originals and publisher of her books and prints.

Annie has joined with McCaw Allan to use her design in a beautiful range of Kitchen Co-Ordinates which include cotton and pvc aprons, open top and standard tea cosies, pvc gusset bags, oven gloves and gauntlets plus linen union tea towels.
