SAN FRANCISCO - May 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Taylor Design, an employee-owned architectural, environments and strategies firm, announces two promotions in the firm. Project Director Eric Peabody is now a Senior Associate, and Project Manager Jason Ng is now an Associate.  Both Peabody and Ng are based in the San Francisco office of Taylor Design.

A Project Director at Taylor Design since 2013, Peabody has helped grow the firm's Northern California operations through his leadership and collaborative problem solving skills.  During his 14-year career, Peabody has worked with clients to deliver solutions-oriented designs for technologically advanced science and health care projects at major institutions, including SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, University of California, San Francisco, Stanford Health Care and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

As a Senior Associate, Peabody will continue his leadership role, serving as Project Director for a variety of healthcare and science projects with a focus on operational improvement through the application of Lean methodology. He is also a leader in the firm's quality management initiative, using virtual design and construction, as well as other industry advancements to deliver value and ensure high-standards for the firm's projects in Northern California.

A licensed architect in California, Arizona and Washington, Peabody holds a bachelor's degree in architecture with honors from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and has completed studies at the Harvard School of Public Health for Laboratory Design, Health & Safety. He is a contributing member of the Lean Construction Institute and has presented on the topics of BIM, Lean, high-tech healthcare and sustainability at a variety of conferences, including AIA New Technologies, Alliances, Practices (NTAP), ABX, Labs 21, California Higher Education Sustainability Conference and Herrero Lean Community.

Jason Ng
With over 10-years of design expertise as well as extensive knowledge pertaining to the complex regulatory compliance issues of medical facilities, Ng has brought significant value to Taylor Design's healthcare clients while serving as Project Manager since 2011. Well versed in California Building Code (CBC), NFPA-101 Life Safety Code and Accessibility (ADA) regulations on commercial and public buildings requiring a high level of review, Ng conducts meticulous site investigations for clients that help identify and resolve non-compliant issues affecting the outcome of their project prior to plan-check approvals. He also provides assessments and drawings in preparation of The Joint Commission survey required for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reimbursement and licensure of healthcare facilities.

In his new role as Associate at Taylor Design, Ng will continue his work on complex projects for clients such as Stanford University, University of California, San Francisco, Kaiser Permanente and other healthcare organizations across California.

Ng is a graduate of Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in architecture. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Fire Protection Agency.
