Ulster County's Ellenville Million Initiative Launches Tourism Marketing Campaign

ELLENVILLE, N.Y. - May 9, 2016 - PRLog -- The Ulster County Economic Development Alliance (UCEDA) is pleased to announce that BBG&G Advertising and Public Relations has been hired to develop and implement a year-round tourism campaign promoting Ellenville and Wawarsing, as part of the Ellenville Million Initiative. The Ellenville Millionfunds were allocated by Ulster County Executive Mike Hein and the County Legislature, with the goal of helping the people and the economy of the Ellenville and Wawarsing area to prosper.

The marketing campaign - beginning in 2016 and extending into 2017 - will promote the vast array of outdoor activities, restaurants, and historic sites, Shadowland Spaces, walkable downtown and other attractions available to visitors. Deborah Garry, Partner of BBG&G Advertising, said the comprehensive campaign will include a new web site, public relations, and multi-media marketing tactics promoting Ellenville's unique assets to visitors and potential business owners.

"Between Ellenville's natural scenic beauty and the revitalization efforts, it's the ideal time to implement a well thought-out Placemaking and Marketing Strategy that will celebrate everything the town has to offer."

Pleased to hear that BBG&G Advertising had been hired to promote Ellenville, community leaders and business owners concur that the town's spectacular outdoor assets, proximity to the metro area, and unique quaint character is not nearly as well known as it could be.
