Level 10 Construction's work involves renovating four existing buildings on the site, which cover 500,000 sq. ft. on 56.6 acres. The buildings contain four existing tenants with approximately 400 employees. "The Summit Rancho Bernardo is a unique corporate campus offering great quality with many amenities," said Mike Conroy, Vice President of Operations for Level 10 Construction's San Diego office. "We are pleased to have had the opportunity to make improvements that further enhance its appeal to current and potential tenants." Level 10 Construction's activities at The Summit Rancho Bernardo include upgrades to the building exteriors; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure upgrades; 20,000 sq. ft. of existing building infill; construction of new chiller yards and decommissioning of the existing chiller plant; construction of a new amenities building built inside the old central plant; and extensive site landscape, hardscape, and patio upgrades around the existing four buildings and new amenities building. Level 10 Construction self-performed all the structural concrete work, as well as all carpentry, including 10,000 sq. ft. of Brazilian hardwood decking. Level 10 Construction's project team for The Summit Rancho Bernardo includes Dennis Daley, Project Manager; Tanner MacDonald, Superintendent; Level 10's San Diego office is currently working on a variety of project types, including mixed-use, vertical multi-family, biopharmaceutical, higher education and advanced technology.
