VERO BEACH, Fla. - May 4, 2016 - PRLog -- The New York Times recently published an article detailing the story of Carly Cardellino, senior beauty editor at Cosmopolitan.com. Ms. Cardellino had Tattoo Regret and wanted to make the tattoo she got on her foot in college go away.

After undergoing a laser treatment every four weeks for a year ($3,000), the tattoo looked like what appeared to be a bruise and as Ms. Cardellino describes, "It looked worse than it did as a tattoo."

Back in 2009 there were no other alternatives and she resigned to just live with the mark when in December 2012, the Food and Drug Administration approved a new kind of laser that could remove, among other things, so-called recalcitrant tattoos.

After only seven treatments with this laser her tattoo was gone completely. This new laser, the PicoSure Laser, was developed by Cynosure to provide safe, painless and fast tattoo removal services. The PicoSure Laser works by using mechanical light to break up the tattoo ink and avoids pain to the patient because it does not use heat, thus making it more effective in fewer treatments.

Dr. Frazier of Vero Beach Cosmetic Surgery & Medispa in Vero Beach, Florida recently began using this laser to treat patients along the Treasure Coast with tattoo regret as shown in the video below:

The laser works fast on tough colors such as blues, blacks and greens. Previously treated tattoos are easy to treat as well with this advanced laser; whereas other inferior lasers require twenty or more painful treatments, only four to six are required with the PicoSure laser.

Pain management and pain avoidance are top priorities for Dr. Frazier and Dr. Bailor. They address them by saying, "Pain-free tattoo removal is here. With local anesthesia injected to numb the tattooed area and also chilled air to cool the skin, you can now enjoy quick, comfortable, and affordable sessions."
