Soulful blues-rock artist Marwan Maurice releases new single and video 'Don't Label Me'

COLUMBUS, Ohio - May 3, 2016 - PRLog -- He's a one-man band from Ohio, but his rock is infused with heavy doses of soul and blues. Marwan Maurice has announced today the release of yet another single from the upcoming album titled Black Smoke. His lyrics often go beyond trite explorations of love, romance and heartache and delve into deeper themes. His sound compiles several influences, including The Black Keys, John Lee Hooker, Bruce Cockburn, Imagine Dragons and The Roots.

He recently released a new single called "Sistah Soul," with an infectious dance groove propelled by punchy drums that quickly generated positive reviews for its reoccurring themes that span across multiple generations, cultures and political statements.

Like previous releases, 'Don't Label Me' is proudly published as an independent single without the influence of the corporate music industry.  A humble music artist, Marwan insists that his songs aren't attempts at fortune or glory.
