SANTA CLARA, Calif. - May 2, 2016 - PRLog -- The program is being spearheaded by the President and Co-founder of Akraya, Sonu Ratra and Suparna Vashisht, an experienced marketing and strategy professional.

The WBW program introduces an untapped pool of highly-skilled, experienced women to participating partner companies, who are seeking talented individuals who will make a positive impact on their business and also boost their gender diversity efforts.  With Akraya's impeccable reputation and over 15 years of talent acquisition experience, the WBW program is in a perfect position to identify and access a large pool of cost-effective talent for its partner companies. WBW aims to provide expertise across domains like IT/engineering, management, sales, finance, operations, marketing, HR and administration.

For many years, Ratra, as Co-founder and President of Akraya Inc, has been utilizing her vast network to help create opportunities for women in the workplace. She is a diversity and staffing thought-leader and has been actively involved in promoting women through various organizations including ASTRA Women's Business Alliance and specific initiatives like IEEW's Peace Through Business. Vashisht, a marketing and strategy executive has worked first in Fortune 500 companies and now in non-profit organizations. For the last few years, she has used her personal networks to help women get back on track in terms of their careers.

WBW invites corporations to join the program as participating partners and choose from a variety of engagement models. The program is free for women returning to the workforce and features career counseling, tools for skills refreshment and exclusive access to events, as well as access to a network of empowering mentors.

Women Back to Work is accepting resume submissions via email at: wbw.resumes@akraya.com and the website is www.womenbacktowork.org.
