Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK) Held Fall/Winter 2016 Opening Press Conference

NEW YORK - April 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Fashion Week Brooklyn, the Official Fashion Week of the Borough, held a press conference earlier this week to announce details for its upcoming Fall/Winter 2016 Season. Brooklyn News 12 and members of the press, along with Fashion Week Brooklyn's sponsors and partners witnessed the Proclamation of BK Style Day. Fashion Week Brooklyn opens May 1st to May 8th, with runway shows featuring international emerging designers, pop-up shops and art exhibits in various locations throughout Brooklyn.

The agenda commenced with welcoming remarks from BK Style Foundation's International Relations Director Mike Johnson, who announced upcoming details about FWBK's global partnerships and developments. Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, immediately followed with supporting remarks and presented a Proclamation to FWBK's Founder Rick Davy, declaring May 6th as BK Style Day.

"It was my pleasure to recognize BK Style Foundation on behalf of Brooklyn's thriving fashion design community," said Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.

The fashionable closing of the conference included a denim wear showcase by FWBK's models in support of Denim Day NYC; and a first look presentation of Designer Raif Atelier's collection.
