Angels perform drone-strike funeral procession at Creech Air Force Base gate

REDDING, Calif. - April 28, 2016 - PRLog -- On April 1st, a group of teenagers and a ten year old, calling themselves EEK Team (Environmentally Enlightened Kids), performed a combination modern dance and die-in, when they enacted a funeral procession at Creech Air Force base close to Las Vegas, Nevada. The youth and six adults trailing behind them, were all dressed as Angels.

The performance was to highlight the United States policy of allowing drone pilots to fire hellfire missiles into funerals, even graveside, in what military slang sometimes refers to as a "triple tap". The US also has a policy known as "double tap", in which pilots fire upon people who come to rescue victims of the initial drone strike. The US has waited and fired, even hours after an initial strike, in massacres that witnesses and victim's families say can be entirely civillian. Leaked military and CIA documents last October by the Intercept revealed that the government is well aware that up to 90% of drone missile strike victims are not the specified target, each being a target that Obama supposedly signs off on.

As many as a thousand or more children have been killed. The exact number will never be known due to geographical remoteness, stonewalling by the CIA and the Obama administration and the confusion around the definition of terrorist or enemy combatant. The Obama administration has declared that any male of military age to be a combatant. So if a rescuer happens to be an adult or even a mid teenager, they are automatically deemed a combatant after being destroyed. Whistleblowers from the drone assassination program have stated that the entire program is creating many more terrorists than are being killed. All indications from many sources confirms this.

EEK team's performance was the first in a series of direct actions ending an annual week-long protest known as "Shut Down Creech" at the base that led to over two dozen arrests. None of the kids were arrested but the adults trailing them stood off a line-up of highway patrol and Las Vegas Metro Deputies and were subsequently arrested. The entire procession was given a five minute warning by law enforcement. The funeral procession however was only 3 minutes long, the length of the performance's music which was the well known Air Force Song (Up we go into the wild blue yonder etc).

The Shut Down Creech activists disrupted three primary entrances to the base in order to stall drone pilots from reaching their duties and to garner international support through media attention. Creech AFB is the command center for much of President Obama's drone assassinations that are quickly raising anger world-wide. Four whistleblowers from the program are currently releasing their stories and being interviewed both in the US and abroad.

EEK Team and organizers with Shut Down Creech are asking people to watch the video even though the reality presented is for some very difficult to see and share the video widely.
