Hunted, the second book in the Scarlett Fry series has been released!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Oct. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Veteran, Author Dominique L. Watson releases another book. Last year she released a debut novel in the Scarlett Fry Series. This series follows a Homicide Detective out of the Western Division of the San Diego Police Department. Murder for Justice was a page turning debut. This book was Dominique's first try at mystery and suspense and she knocked it out of the park. Now, she is releasing the second book in the Scarlett Fry series, Hunted.

Hunted follows Scarlett Fry as she hunts a possible murderer and kidnapper. The story starts off with Scarlett and her husband, Cory, off on a trip to Spain. While visiting the exotic country, a couple is found dead in their hotel suite. It looks like murder. Not having any jurisdiction, Scarlett is forced to go back to the reason she is in the country and ignore the case.

Meanwhile, she heads home. She and her partner Trey Carr are handed a case that looks very familiar. As they start piecing things together, Fry and Carr realize that the victims past has finally caught up with them and they are forced to go across state lines to catch a killer.

"I started working on this book as soon as Murder for Justice was finished. This book is exciting. It has a lot of twists and turns that the readers won't be able to see. Scarlett and her partner are on the clock to find a murderer and kidnapper." Dominique tells us.

Dominique also explains that in this story we will see a lot of emotions from Scarlett Fry. "Scarlett is very sensitive about her family. When some scary things hit close to home, her emotions are a wreck. She does put all of that energy into her work which allows her to be focused on the task at hand."

Dominique tells us that Scarlett Fry is headed for a long run in the industry. "I'm trying to catch up with James Patterson and his Alex Cross series. "

Being a fan of his work, she uses what she's learned through reading and research to keep Scarlett and the other characters intact. "I do a lot of reading and researching. This genre is not easy to write in if you don't have the voice, information and determination to do it. It comes with a lot of patience and research. Every time I write a new Scarlett Fry novel, it's like going back to school."
