New Trailer Repair And Hitch Installation Business Opens In Spring Lake, Michigan

"I started working with Nick at his trailer repair and hitch business of 13 years when I lived in Florida. He taught me how to fix everything from simple hub repacks and lighting issues to changing brakes and an actuator on a tri-axle boat trailer. I realized after being there for sometime, I wanted to offer all of the same services right here in Spring Lake. So, I started West Michigan Towable Solutions when I moved back to the area this last year."

A Grand Haven native, Laclair is the sole owner and operator of West Michigan Towable Solutions. After spending several years running the hitch installation and repair business for Mr. Lukas in Florida, LaClair moved back to the area with his fiancé, Anna Darwin, to start his own venture on the Lakeshore. An avid outdoorsman and self-proclaimed "motor head", LaClair is known by friends and family as the "go-to" expert when it comes to anything mechanical. When he's not at his Spring Lake shop working, Dan enjoys hunting in the great State of Michigan, playing softball and is a regular golfer. He and his fiancé and their two rescue pups, Otto and Zeus, live in Grand Haven.
