GREENBELT, Md. - April 27, 2016 - PRLog -- On May 14th, individuals throughout PG County, MD and surrounding areas are invited to support an event in honor of domestic abuse survivors. The 2nd Annual Ladeez Tea hosted by Xquisite Ladeez of Diamond Class, will be held at the Greenbelt Marriott (6400 Ivy Lane, Greenbelt, Md. 20770) on Saturday, May 14 from 12pm - 4pm. This event serves as a platform to encourage support of the primary cause and mission to educate the community and be a much-needed resource for those dealing with domestic violence.

Xquisite Ladeez of Diamond Class is the PG County-based non-profit hosting the event. In collaboration with other leaders, authors, organizations, businesses and ministries, the 2nd Annual Ladeez Tea will not only be a day of entertainment, but also a reminder of the seriousness and critical nature of domestic abuse. In response to why choosing a month outside of the national awareness month of October, Tardaney Addison, founder of the non-profit, explains, "Abuse doesn't happen once a year. It's a daily battle for a lot of us and we need to keep the awareness relevant all year long." Addison and the Xquisite Ladeez of Diamond Class are honored to have the support of such notables including State Delegate Michael A. Jackson who will be the keynote speaker for the event. Additionally, there will be numerous guest speakers, radio/T.V. personalities, authors, and entertainers all lending their support in honor of the cause. A featured "Hat Show" will be presented by "Ms. Vanilla Bean." Other vendors will also be on display.

As a survivor herself, Addison is passionate about advocacy and encourages, "Let's continue to break down the strongholds that uplift domestic abuse." The organization will donate a portion of proceeds from ticket sales to Safe House, owned and operated by the Family Crisis Center, with the remaining proceeds going directly towards a new facility, "The Chrysalis, A Safe Haven," scheduled to open in summer 2016. The organization will continue to collect tax-deductible donations all year long and also offer sponsorship opportunities for the event.

Tickets are available online through Eventbrite ranging in price from $35 - $40 per person. To obtain details about this event or the organization, visit the official website at xquisiteladeez.com. You may also contact 240-595-4244 or email xldiamond05@gmail.com.
