Sinai Residences, which celebrated its groundbreaking 2.5 years ago and its topping off ceremony a year later, will not only provide homes for more than 450 individuals. It will bring in additional revenue for decades to the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. These funds will allow the Federation to further its mission by increasing aid to those in need in South Palm Beach County, in Israel and around the world; and to advance Jewish continuity and engagement.

"The opening of Sinai Residences signifies the most transformational moment in the history of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County," said Matthew C. Levin, the Federation's President & CEO. "This project is significant for its enormity in the state-of-the-art senior living it provides, but also, as a revenue generator, for its addition to the impact our Federation will be able to have here in this community and around the world for decades to come."

Sinai Residences features more than 350 beautiful, state-of-the-art residences, providing support for all stages of senior life, including 234 independent living apartment homes, and an onsite continuum of care including 48 assisted-living residences, 60 skilled nursing suites, and 24 private memory care suites.

The not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community has been developed and is overseen by the Board of Managers of Federation CCRC Development, LLC., an affiliate of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.

A Dedication for the Ted & Barbara Wolk Spa and Fitness Center will also take place, in honor of the Wolks' $1 million gift.

Sinai Residences offers the highest standard of engaged senior living and features a wealth of luxury services and amenities including hospitality, recreational and social services, cultural and academic pursuits, fitness programs, as well as gourmet dining with kosher dining. The Kosher dining experience is overseen by a Mashgiach, and certified as Glatt Kosher. Sinai Residences also enjoys front-row access to the many Federation-sponsored cultural, social and educational events.

As a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Sinai residents can age in place with security; housing, health care, amenities and services are provided for them. As a Life Care community, residents are guaranteed access to every level of care at a predictable monthly cost, and with refundable entry-fee options. Access to health care is also guaranteed to residents from the moment they move-in, and for as long as they remain residents. When residents pass on, their heirs receive up to 95 percent of value of home.

Sinai Residences of Boca Raton is located on the north side of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County campus west of Boca Raton, Florida. The Sinai Residences fills acres of land that had been vacant on the Federation campus since it first officially opened in 1991. The project has brought more than 550 full time jobs to Palm Beach County, including 325 full-time construction-related jobs, and s soon to be reached total of 225 Sinai Residences employees.

The Sinai Residences development team, led by Greenbrier Development of Dallas, Texas, includes Suffolk Construction, Perkins-Eastman Architects, H.J. Sims & Co. investment bankers, among others. In addition, Life Care Services, Inc. and Executive Director Chris Newport manage the new community.
