Sacred Heart School receives Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation grant

KINGSTON, Mass. - April 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Sacred Heart School, a private, Catholic, co-educational school in Kingston for students in preschool through grade 12, is pleased to announce receipt of a $5,500 grant from the Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation.

The Foundation focuses on four primary areas: education, health and human services, youth programs and community development.

Sacred Heart will use the grant funds for the following programs:

• $2,500 in support of the Sacred Heart Fund for financial aid and scholarships

• $1,000 to support Sacred Heart School's Campus Ministry Program which provides services to the poor and to support efforts in multiple community outreach programs

• $1,000 in support of the Hunt Leadership Program, founded in memory of William Hunt a 1987 graduate, killed in the terrorist attacks of September 2001

• $1,000 in support of Sacred Heart Interdisciplinary Education Leadership (SHIELD)
