RALEIGH, N.C. - April 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Elizabeth Stephenson has just opened her new law practice, New Direction Family Law. Her practice focuses on helping clients who are going through separation and divorce make powerful changes to their lives. In addition to separation and divorce, she helps clients who have issues with child custody and visitation, child or spousal support, property division, or domestic violence.

Ms. Stephenson has devoted her adult life to serving the needs of North Carolina families and children in crises. She has a master's degree in social work. Prior to law school, she was the Program Director for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina and the Executive Director of the Covenant with North Carolina's Children. She graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School with honors in 2000, and she has worked tirelessly for the last 15 years advocating for her clients in the field of family law.

Ms. Stephenson is an experienced litigator who fights aggressively for the rights of her clients. But she also helps her clients get through the process by providing support and resources that will empower her clients to move forward in their new lives. She believes that with change comes empowerment.
